Description

The Fin Restraint Release Device provides for the release of missile or rocket fins at a prescribed time after ejection from the launch tube or separation from a delivery vehicle. Pulling the lanyard wires from the device initiates redundant time delay and burster charges, which separate the fitting and release the cable restraining the fins.
