Delay Detonating ElementsDescriptionDelay Detonating Elements (DDEs), sometimes called Millisecond or MS Connectors, are devices used in conjunction with detonating cord to create an in-line millisecond delay. Delay timing is a useful tool in blasting or demolition missions. Using delay timing for explosive events allows for reduced blast over-pressure, reduced explosive quantity per blast event, improved fragmentation, improved movement of blast materials, and reduced seismic vibration.
