EBA&D’s Umbilical Disconnect (UMB) can be actuated by a lanyard, pyrotechnic device, or Non-Explosive Actuator (NEA).  They are also offered with a combination of the above if redundancy is required.  All UMB connectors have soft dock positioning and scoop proof design.

Our connectors are available in variety of MIL-C-38999 series III insert arrangements. The size shape and separation force is open to customization.  Our connectors have 20° angular misalignment cone to aid in bind mate connections.
